Description

I took this in an old bank converted to a restaurant in Carthage Texas near Louisiana.first time in person to see such a safe in the round.they have a museum upstairs and I will be sharing some from it probably I installed windows 7 professional last night and at first glance I like it, mainly because of the lack of baggage from HP .the only problem so far is no Microsoft games like solitaire and I lost windows media so I must figure out some other way to watch tv. now, I am reinstalling my software.my next item is poser 8,Apophysis,etc thanks for watching and any comments are appreciated

I have never seen anything like this safe. It's beautiful. I usually use Linux but I also have a Vista gaming machine. To be honest I can't be bothered installing Windows 7 yet, even though I have it and am sure it is really worth it. I am one of those few people who never had any problems with Vista! It's always worked perfectly for me, as did XP etc. I tweaked it to how I liked it and got rid of those darn warnings quick smart!!!! It's hard to go past Linux for me though....no viruses EVER, no crashes EVER, no price tag EVER, no stooopid warning messages EVER, no blue screen of death EVER! No Steve Jobs/Bill Gates characters ruining my day with all their amazingnesssss....EVER!!!!!!! Enjoy that flash new OS mate!

Extremely unusual safe. I wonder if you have a one-of-a-kind there? I've noticed that old banks usually have their safes still in place long after they've gone...mighty heavy to move:) Thanks for the info on Windows 7...I will be upgrading soon too.

A nice peace of history and a great wood- or metal-art too.

Super cool looking safe, I would have never known it was a safe if you had not told us. lol I am thinking about installing Windows 7 as well...we will see if I follow through. I hope yours works well and you get your programs back also. Nothing more frustrating than having a program and all of a sudden, gone. :-(

Very interesting photo! I won't be installing Win7 anytime soon. in fact, the next 'upgrade' will probably be Win8 or Win9.
