Hi and thanks for looking. The pic above is of me at the TIGERÂ TEMPLE in Thailand First a little about me. Â I am male, Â in my 60's, Â living in Melbourne Australia. I worked as a machinist for over 40 years after serving a five year apprenticeship, seven years in the rope industry and thirty eight in the glass container industry. My main hobby has been photography ( I developed my first film ( with supervision ) when I was eight years old.) Â Sooo many years ago. I first saw poser through a friend and I was impressed. Â Poser 2 was my first purchase. It was so amazing being able to set lights and pose a model that did not complain about the cold, discomfort, taking so long, am I going to get paid for this? I have been playing with Poser, Bryce and Painter ever Since, Â thank you for reading. Live forever, Â or die trying

Nice render! Would love to see her in future renders. Definitely keep working with the IDL. Your on a good start and continuing that trend. I don't see anything wrong or off with the image, her face is nicely and evenly lit. For me, I've been working and playing with Global Illumination: Sunlight + Indirect Lighting, basically the same as Poser8's IDL, as they do the same effect. Removes the need to use a 3 point lighting setup and is intended to be more natural in result. Don't fret if you don't get a render spot-on, or if the result isn't quite what you expected. Since I started with Carrara, lighting has been and always will be a tricky dance partner. And believe me, I've spent countless hours tweaking and adjusting best as I can with test renders. Important thing is to persevere, and don't give up - and this is intended for those days that may yet seemingly give you nothing but frustration. Keep up the good work, and keep up the IDL :)
