I joined Renderosity back in 2002 and have been amazed at what can be done. I always wanted to do comic book art but wasn't too good at drawing. When I first saw Poser, I was extremely excited. With some Photoshop skills under my belt, I found I could marry the two and voila, I could get what I wanted.
I do plan to release my own comics. I try to spend time learning the skills and when I get to where I can do the things I feel are important with some reliability, I will get them done and out.

Well, my memory wasn't too bad. I thought you had 'The Pool' well underway prior to your surgery. The first 82 pages turned up on E-Hentai Galleries and I was delighted to find them. A particularly clever story that sadly stopped before conclusion. I think. Is there any more? Are you going to finish it? Plotline complete in your imaginative brain? This is cool stuff.

Hi Siogi, thanks for your comment. I had stopped doing "The Pool" due to the poor interest. If memory serves me right, I had made $75 total for the all that work. I asked for donations and a total of two people contributed. While their contributions were deeply appreciated, I'm afraid the lack of additional contributions indicated I had a long way to go before my efforts would be appreciated. In other words, the effort to payout ratio just wasn't good. Believe it or not, most of the time, a single page took a whole day to do. Today's higher speed processors and graphic cards have shortened that time down considerably. In addition, I was doing "The Pool" without a written, well thought out script. Big mistake! I was all over the place effort wise, and it shows in my work. I consider it time well spent though because it made me work my programs (Poser, Photoshop, etc) so that I learned them to high degree. It also taught me having a script provides direction and actually helps in the design process. I haven't given up, I'm just improving my craft for now. Maybe soon I'll take another dip in the public pool so to speak. Again, thanks for the comment. Have a great day.
