Description
It's been a while since I've posted. Life has taken a big bite out of my time so I thought I would try something different for a change. Don't worry, I will still be posting in the comic gallery. This is simply SATIRE. I thought it might be fun to try a magazine cover illustration for a ficticious news-rag. I was inspired by the great art of Mikeall here at Renderosity and the current hubabub in Washington. If you can't poke fun at our elected officials then we are indeed in a sorry state of affairs. Enjoy

Oh, so very true! LOL! Bill Wa raised a good point, Dems using somebody else's bullets. They'd then start another round of anti-gun legislation! Statistics by outcome-oriented organizations would spew forth new, propagandistic data! All aimed against what America stands for. It's one thing to have an opinion that is unpopular, another thing to force people to fit that mold! The Founding Fathers would have hanged, or tarred and feathered, tyrants like that. Plas, on the other hand, just try poking really biting, sarcastic satire against our Tyrant in Chief. You'll be audited by the IRS in no time! Oh, yeah, that was under the Clintons... my bad. ;D

Lieberman turned himself into a satire of a responsible Senator. The sooner the folks back home kick this self-serving idiotic Quisling out of office, the better we'll all be. Interesting how Conservatives claim Democrats are the tyrants and ignore how Cheney-Bush wanted to transform the nation into a Fascist state. Criticize President Cheney or King George and you DID find yourself the recipient of a brand new Homeland Security file. If you were well known, then King George's bosses Rupert Murdoch and Limbaugh ordered their media lackeys to commence a campaign of slander and libel.

Wow, when you touch on a political topic around here you really get the emotional comments, don't you? And amid all the bile, I think it's funny that at least one artist gigged you for misnaming your firearm. Great job on this one, and thanks for reminding us that it's nice to live in a country where satire of political leaders is not only allowed, it's encouraged.
