Description
Creeping thru buildings in the night
Limited sight, reason takes flight
    Some thing inside me feels such dread
    It spins my head; ungrateful dead
What's this? There's footsteps from behind
What will we find? Fear chills the mind
    Wish I had stayed home with my cat
    Safe in my flat...What just went "splat"?
Gothic Content: Fear. Comedy can be used in Gothic writing, so long as it "fits" the mood.
