ZOOM for details, details, details...:) City is Chicago. River on the right is the Chicago River which empties into Lake Michigan just a dozen blocks off to the east (right). [added: actually, thanks to some well engineered locks, the lake now flows into the river...see auntietk's comment below.] Turquoise colored roof is on the "L" (Elevated Train Station) on West Lake Street. White roofed structure is above the tracks of Chicago's main railroad station. Photo is taken from my perch on the 99th floor of what was for years the Sears Tower (now the Willis Tower). Bill:)
