Description

Rock details look much better in full size. I wanted to capture in this image the same kind of isolation that I depicted in another image I posted a few days ago, "The Road and the Light" (link below). In fact, I wanted to depict more than just isolation. In both images I wanted the viewer to also have a bit of a feeling of how small we are in this big world of ours. I hope you enjoy watching. thumb_1963369.jpg I would like to take this opportunity to thank Renderosity for having me included in the nominees for Artist of the Month in November and to thank all who voted for me and who sent me their congratulations. Thank you very much! I would also like to salute my fellow nominees and everyone who inspired me in Renderosity over these 3 years here. Thank you! :-)

Seriously you HAVE to zoom on this to see that little tiny figure on the big big mountain. Love your work here. Great texture and cool feeling of scale. Just fabulous work.

The sense of scale takes all its meaning here. Even if the character is alone and seems isolated, he becomes powerful because of the scale. He reminds me a lot the one from your "Shepherd of Dragons" image, is he the same? If so, maybe he is waiting his dragons to come back... ;) Congrats for the nomination, but i really think you're more than an "Arist of the Month", you are a "Grand Artist" :)
