Description

Toxic yawned ferociously. She almost hit Sunshine with her school bag while stretching. Sunny fumed, "WATCH OUT! Wake up! It's your fault we're running late because you were out all night goofing around with the Measure and your BOYFRIEND!" Toxic blinked. "He's not my boyfriend. The Measure had something out of whack and I needed to fix it!" Lime asked, "What?" Toxic said, "Her attitude. I needed to adjust it." Lime broke out laughing. People getting on the train stared at the trio of out of place girls. Toxic yawned again and asked,"Where are we going again?" Sunshine blinked her eye and glared at Toxic. "To the military base school! You KNOW that the ship is going to be worked on for three weeks, so we can't sit on our butts being uneducated!" Lime asked Toxic, "You got your lunch and PMDs?" Toxic jingled the toy animals dangling from her bag. "I got THREE! Jin got one, The Captain got one and Jaeko got one for me! I have NO idea what to do with them, but I got them!" Sunshine grabbed Toxic by the leg and started gnawing on her knee. "You nut!" Toxic shrieked and giggled. Lime grabbed Sunny by the phased radar ear and pulled her off. Lime said, "NO! No power swords, hijinks, beat-up, or knock outs! Sunny, mom put ME in charge of getting us there, and I do NOT want to screw this up!" She looked over at Toxic and said, "Portable Memory Devices are microcomputers that hold our homework and workbooks and such. You plug 'em into the terminals at school. Toxic, you are scary ignorant! You need to wake up and get some school!" A Shalmiraine guide came over and asked, "Are you young ladies lost? Can I help?" He was a large muscular Scav in the official guide uniform. He smiled at them warmly. Sunny crossed her arms in mimicry of her mother, and said, "We are waiting for our friend, Prince, to finish up in the bathroom, so we can catch the train to the base School. It's our first day there." He said,"I hope you friend is brown skinned and wearing a male school uniform and having woven hair. If so--here he comes." He pointed behind them. Sunny shouted, "Prince! COME ON! We'll be late!" She turned to the Guide and said, "Thank you very much for your help, Mister Guide!" She bowed and took Lime's hand and grabbed onto Prince's. Lime lead them onto the tube-train. It departed from the station with a whoosh and they were mesmerized bu the view. They never saw the top part of Shalmiraine before, and were stupefied by the scale. The structure was almost twenty miles tall and had a surface at the top of almost seven miles across, filled with buildings, and landing strips, and launch pits. Lime spoke tersely,"NO weird stuff! I mean it! No wall-climbing, shape-changing, system hacking, fire-starting--NOTHING! Do not ruin this! This can be fun if you just sit back and learn stuff and get along with people! IS THIS CLEAR?" The other three nodded. Prince said, "Sure. Play nice be nice. Is simple." Lime asked, "Prince...where is your lunch?" "I ate them. Hungers...I has them! Rose gave monies for buying lunch if needed. I hope they has chickens!" He looked completely innocent. Lime frowned. "NO SHAPE-CHANGING and NO eating of ANY school animals! Is THAT clear?" Toxic and Prince looked at each other. Toxic asked, "Even if tasty?" Sunny started giggling. Lime glared at her and said flatly, "EVEN IF TASTY! No means NO! You want on my mom,Rose's bad side?" The others shook there heads. Prince said, "No! She has scary powers and attitudes. She'd bad enemy." Lime hoped that nothing bad would happen in school, like the place burning down or blowing up. --TO BE CONTINUED!--

I'm sure it will be an interesting first day to say the least, as nothing ever goes according to plan.

I don't think that school know what's coming. Funny dialog and interaction. Great posing! The closest guy in the train looks a little stiff and out of place, but everybody else looks really natural. I like the guy staring at them from the back. Very cool patterns and textures on the guides uniform. Toxic looks like she's ready to break into a overly choreographed pop music dance number. That would be something to see. Wonderful job on the eye contact, I'm sure that's not easy. Very nice episode.

LOL! I love the last sentence. The Prince, and two of the 4 Sisters (even if they are off-line at the moment) could make school extremely interesting. This is a very fun story. I've been reading this in my spare time for several days now, and I still need a character glossary because I keep forgetting names. But it doesn't stop me from enjoying this.
