Description

Just a quick upload before I head off to bed! I captured this 'Tall One' in the Kruger National Park a while ago. It was still taken on film and the negative scanned in. I always loved this image as the light was great and the pose close to perfect. Hope all you giraffe lovers out there will enjoy this one! Fantastic capture of a beautiful animal. I have had the good fortune of seeing them in the wild. Giraffes and Wart Hogs are my favorites.

Being from Chicago, I can say that this is something I don't get to see every day. I am often surrounded by insects, but for some reason, giraffes are more alien to me. Needless to say, I love 'em. I wonder why they haven't been domesticated? I wonder what you'd do with them if they were. At any rate, this is a superb shot, well worth the effort you put into it. Great stuff!
