What an astonishing closeup! I love these things...when I was younger, I called them "Lawnmowers" but could never train them to do the yard work I was always trying to get out of. They're so stubborn! Fantastic details here. I love the light and the way the light and shadows play around the contours of this complex and gorgeous face. This is a rare, intimate shot of an insect quite a few people would ignore. Great work. Superb color.
