Description

Bryce 6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape 3.3 This image came about after watching falling leaves blowing in the Fall wind,and how they rose and fell like butterflies.I imagined a fantasy world where butterflies camouflaged themselves, with leaf-like wings,and hid from predators in the forest canopy.As Winter approached,and the leaves fell,they became vulnerable and would have to migrate to warmer climes,much like the Monarchs. Troll,trees,background stumps and butterflies are from Daz3D and posed in DazStudio...the stumps are part of the Power 2D set,the butterflies are from the ultimate Butterfly collection,the trees from a set for Bryce.I replaced the butterfly wing textures with my own leaf and trans map,and the ground texture is a combination of two photo textures from cgtextures.com combined with a cloud procedural to mix them.The rock texture is part of the Seriously Real Materials 5-6 set from Daz.Lighting,atmo are custom.Rendered in Premium with soft shadows(12 hour render).Post in Photoshop includes level adjustment and sig,in Photoscape I added a bloom effect.Thanks for viewing and comments!
