Bryce6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape3.3 Briggs was the first to bite it,going out in a huge fireball as the enemy fighter raked his fuel tanks in a burst of laserfire,a bright orange glow and then...nothing.We fought on bravely,outnumbered and out-gunned,each knowing that we could be the next to go.Many brave souls were lost that day...Higgins,Chubby,Reco...all great guys,some with families on the colony ships we were defending,some loners,all friends.When reinforcement ships finally arrived,we were down to a handful of men.The enemy took heavy losses too,and eventually cowered of into the nearby nebula clouds,tails between their legs.Later,as we prepared to deploy again,I took a moment to remember those brave souls,my friends.They would be with me always as I battled on. My Remembrance Day image,which I finally managed to do early this year after missing the last two.Michael3 base in Marauder gear from Daz3D,posed in DazStudio.Terrain textures are also from Daz,part of the Seriously Real Materials 5-6 set.Sky,lighting and atmo are custom.Ship is an older model of mine created entirely in Bryce,with a texture from cgtextures.com for the base texture.Rendered with two radial lights with low falloff for ambiant light.Post in Photoshop involved a levels adjustment,stars,dust around the ship and signature.In Photoscape a minor bloom effect was added.Thanks for viewing,and any comments you wish to leave!
