Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... This is a model I built in Vue 7 Esprit of the submarine Seaview from the old '60s TV show "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". I built her out of primative shapes and metablobs, mostly from memory. I know she's not 100% accurate, but my version of Vue isn't really the best 3D modeling tool, and my modeling skills are still developing. Consider this a WIP. I uploaded the model to my freebies, but it takes a day or two before it will be available. I also uploaded her to the ShareCG site. Here's the URL: http://www.sharecg.com/v/37890/3D-Model/Submarine-Seaview If you use her in a picture, send me a site mail... I'd like to see what, or if, you can do with her. Also, if anyone knows how I can export the model in another format (like a .obj file) so I can try to texture her, please let me know. Thanks, Tom Seaview123

The underwater lighting is perfect, I also love the glow from the lights. An amazing work with great POV and textures. Wow! Rating was disabled but I'll give it 5 stars!

It looks great! I always thought the design of that sub was both beautiful and practical--lots of smooth surfaces for the water to slide around! Nice caustics, too!

Fantastic work, Tom! Looks good That was actually a pretty good show, especially in the beginning - and the movie which the series was based was great as well!

Looks better than the original,IMO. Better windows and water-flow shape than the original form. Good job.

I really like your efforts as you already know. What you do not know is a Giant crab a hundred times the size of you puny sub is rising from the bottom claws extended thinking to crush this sardine can.
