Description

This is a modern day scene taken in Ravello, Italy in September 2009. I had a little play on PS to see what I could come up with, I am sort of pleased with the result. I wanted it to look like an old postcard or picture. The backdrop to the large building is a massive cliff, I would have liked to darken the church a bit but didn't know how to. Advice always welcome and gratefully received. Not too sure how it will look when uploaded! Also, its a landscape but wasn't sure if I should have put it in photo manipulation, had a couple of my uploads changed to other genres so still learning. Fantastic effect! I love the framing! Is there a clear frame in PS? I'm going to have to explore that. I think it looks perfect the way it is. You can use the select tool to select just a portion of a picture to darken, though sometimes it's hard to get just the part you want. Excellent capture and postwork!
