Description

First of all I'd like to say thank you for the comments on Golden which I uploaded a lifetime ago :p Time vanish and I'm not very active in any art community right now, sadly to say. When I saw the BBC show "Merlin" the first time I became fascinated with Colin Morgans face straight away. It's interesting and it's got the kind of primal or primitive look that fits a show like "Merlin". So finally a few days ago I got a chance to start this painting. It was well overdo, but unfortunately there's only 24 hours a day still :p So I kept postponing it. There's a slideshow of the progress at my blog if anyone's interested. There's also several posts throughout the later part of the blog with more info and more pictures than those in the slideshow. In original he's wearing a chainmail over that shirt, but I decided against painting that bit. So instead I dressed him in a tunic in the same colors as the shirt. My patience didn't last all the way through a chainmail :p Anyway...thanks for peeking and I hope you all have a great weekend :D Christa

This is one of my favorite BBc programs, despite that it doesn't follow the legend exactly! You have recreated our dear Merlin here with intricacies and the hair is most fascinating!! Wonderful Work Here Christa!!!
