Description

It's a fact that Hollywood did not exist until very recently, geologically speaking, so for centuries, alien spaceships were at a loss to know where to crash... And since the bulk of the earth's surface is underwater, well....? Fortunately, the crew of the USS Enewetak Atoll, seen here in "exercises" with the Chilean Navy at Isla de Pascua (Easter Island) are adept at locating and recovering the very kind of "weather balloon debris" that would present a serious choking hazard to any three-year-old government. .............. notes... The recent appearance of the Moai and a CH-47 on Share CG suggested the image to me (Perhaps its the heavy lift idea? Or, perhaps, where we once saw statues, will generations in the far future stare at all that we have achieved and ponder the mysteries of Earth Island?). Anyway... I opted for the CH46 to keep in with the maritime theme and set about modelling it and the suspended cargo net in Shade 8. It was a good opportunity to have a go at Boolean modelling for the cockpit glazing etc. Please excuse the rough bits- I'm still learning. Amphibious assualt ship was modelled previously in Shade 7LE. The Easter Island moai is an interesting Bryce model from Share CG. The Chilean frigate supervising the removal of the (ahem...!) "space debris" is the Norfolk from 3dVia Thanks for viewing...
