Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

I would make the front glass almost clear with a ripple bump map, then make duplicate layers and seperate them through her body say an inch apart continuing behind her for say a total of 10 or 12 layers, which would give you great depth, an excellent try here though!

Wow. I think there are a few water mats in the freebie section, Are you trying for a stargate effect? I know you use Daz studio and I have not used that in years so I forgot or never learned many of it's funtions. Is the prop you are using a window actually a stargate? If a window maybe just a saving render a png and getting picture of water then overlay render over water picture would work. If it is actually a stargar prop then water would be added in material room in poser,,, I am not sure i daz has something like that room. Anyway, in the material room i would locate the opening and trade the existing texture for water texture that you can get in the freebies. I sorry I am not much help and I really do not know all that much. Shadownet is a good source of info, and he is a kind kitty.

Wow .. a lot of good suggestions in comments! Wish I knew more about Daz so I could add some useful comments. I like the idea of using steam or fog or smoke to give it that "look", but have no idea how to do it in Daz. I can do it in PSP though, grins. Just some brushes, and some pushing and smudging and such. I think I liked the previous one better, only because it has an eerier effect. This one looks like she's stepping through from a watery world or something. Each has a different feel to it, each is well done, try some of the suggestions .. you'll come up with what you're after. Excellent effects on both posts
