Description
Down by the creek where the River Willows grow, Murphy is sniffing the air and says, "I smell Birthday Cake".
Buttercup Fae says "That's because there's a Birthday happening somewhere at almost every minute of every day!"
"No-no" says Murphy, "I really DO smell Birthday Cake!"
"Oh, Wait" says Buttercup Fae, "BlueBell Pixie just told me there is special Birthday that's going to happen this very week!"
"See?" says Murphy, "Didn't I just say I smelled Birthday Cake? But it's very far away, way across a big, big, big creek and I won't be able to get across to get some cake!"
Buttercup Fae says, "Don't you worry little Murphy, we'll find something tastey here to help celebrate, even if we are very far from the Birthday Girl."
"But who's birthday will it be?" Murphy wants to know.
"BlueBell Pixie says it will be Dear Jane Eden's Birthday, all the way in England, but we don't know for sure which day is, so we'll celebrate ALL week!", says Buttercup Fae!
"Oh boy!" thinks Murphy, "but what is England?" he wonders to himself, because he is just a little doggy who only knows Home and The Hollow, but he can smell Birthday Cake anywhere!
So. We wish Dear Jane Eden a Beautiful Day for her Birthday, and a Whole Year filled with Much Love, Laughter, Lightness of Heart, Good Fortune, and of course Good Health!

The autumn grasses and shrubs flame is a raw flame, found by chance and dumb luck, grins.

The Dragonfly wings were cut from a dragon fly and pasted on the Fae tube. Both are Anita Lee's in free stuff and at her web site here:(deleted as we now have to go and get rid of all the websites other then rendo in all our postings from the time we began posting here)
And the little Pixie brush is one of Obsidian Dawn's.

I had so much fun with the Halloween stuff, and I'm glad you all enjoyed them too. The comments you guys left were a riot to read! Thank you! Thanks for the faves, too. I appreciate them.
I'm not even going to comment on catching up .. I give up .. I'm going to be forever late, forever behind. I'll just keep trucking along, and who knows, maybe some day I'll all caught up .. for day or two, LOL!

Thank you so much Rita, I love the enchanting scene you created here along with your beloved Murphy, you really are so kind and sweet to have made this for me, and the cute story was fabulous. I have to say I can understand Murphy being able to smell birthday cake, because I received 2 today!!! I know it really doesn't matter about the old waistline today does it? First my very good friend Barbara (jendellas) came for lunch and found a lonely birthday cake in the shop so knew it would be welcomed in my home - yum yum! Then later on my daughter came with her family and carrying a cake she had made just for my birthday, so how could I refuse?? Both cakes were delicious, and my tummy is full of birthday fayre LOL After my full day I am exhausted and have to go to bed now, but just had to call on your gallery before I fall asleep, and how happy I am that I did, it is a beautiful Birthday gift thank you Rita. It's nearly 3 in the morning can't look more tonight...and I know I'll never catch up either...but you're on my list now, so I'll be back. I really love this beautiful image and lovely story. Jane will be delighted with it. I love how Murphy is luring her on towards the cake. Mind you she probably doesn't need much luring if there is cake on the menu.
