Description

Captured 4/4/09, at the Chino Planes of Fame Museum at the Chino Airport in Chino, California. Please ZOOM on this one. Actually, if you want to get technical about it, the P-38 itself is a veteran also. Hail and thank you to all the people who served in the armed forces of the USA, beginning with the Revolutionary War. So long for now, and thankx for coming by.

Probably my favorite vintage plane, hard to choose between this or the P51. This is an incredible tribute to all who served, I salute you all, and am eternally grateful for having done so. We live in the land of the free, BECAUSE of the brave! Thank you!
