Description

Captured 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held in the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California. Just one of the many photogs present that eschewed a flash. Other than the gender, clothing, type camera, and cable release, this was me at the show: the attitude, body language, concentration, pose, preliminaries, everything. For those who are curious, since this was indoors, I also used a tripod to take this series of shots, and the lady was so intensely involved at her task that she had no idea that she was being captured on memory card. In fact, I have other pictures of her in another building featuring orchids at the show. I also have shots of other photographers present, with a minimum of ninja or sneak factor involved. And, with all the tripods present, it was the perfect milieu for a dueling contest. Ta-ta, and thankx for the visit.

did you have your tripod out too. I like this as you started far off then comeing up closer and closer . she into it for sure for she did not see you.

ZOOM is a must on viewing this collage. The detail is amazing. It is a good thing she washed her ears that morning...had she not, it would have shown:))) I like your point that photographing other photographers is easy...they are so absorbed, you can take what you want.

Awesome shots making a great story! I really like the different pics sizes gives a sense of getting closer to the photographer as if I was walking toward her. Very cool!

Lucky girl to have a nice profile! I love the little pinky! Very nice set of shots. Her concentration is very obvious. I'm betting her shots are great too.
