I like the catch-light in her eye, little things like that make a render much more believable.

Wow, you're so powerful with words and the render is amazing. I agree with FrankT, a small detail like this put so much emphasis to the character. Great work!

Beautiful lighting on this lovely! The profile is very refreshing and quite romantic. I love the Tagore quote. I have never read Tagore although I have a portrait of him hanging on my wall (sitting with my hero Albert Einstein). I must go pull out some of his books I have somewhere... I always learn something from your pictures. I think this is one of my favorites.

Very powerful Terry. But what do you do when no hand reaches for yours, when no one has ever said 'I love you'? The Japanese have a saying 'Seven times down, eight times up'. But what do you do when you are down for the nineth time? You get up for the nineth time. What other choice do you have? It still hurts and it takes a long time to mend.

A stunning image that really catches a wonderful spirit in her. The excellent lighting gives it a wonderful finish. Very beautifully created and with a great poem.

My first image I saw that you made was a profile shot like this one. I can still remember how I was drawn to that image.. This one has the same effect on me. Why? Really dunno.. It is just that spark of life that she has, her beauty and her dreamy look I guess. Not only your images have that effect on me, you words do that as well my dear friend. You are a very special person Terry..

Pure profiles are rare in art. Why is that? Is it because we see only half the person. Do we need to see a majority of the face so that we can judge if the person is "truely" balanced? Do we prefer to know that by seeing the whole face that there rarely, in fact never naturally, be full balance? I think of this in relation to your advice on portfolios and to never show 2 pictures side by side, and yet when looking at a person that is what we most desire. Thus profile portraits are most interesting....
