Description

This is the path I was on last weekend. The hawk,snake,heron and the other images I uploaded this past week came from here. Tomorrow I will upload a photo of the creek itself. The new 300mm lens does not seem to take very good scenic shots, Or it could be me LOL Look out yall!!! Its Friday the 13th~

I don't know much about different lens but it does seem to have a mid-range focus. That is really beneficial in scenes like this I think. I love the feeling of the disappearing tunnel of shadow. Must be a great place to stroll in the heat of summer.

Beautiful scene, and you're right, the 300mm is not the right one for these kind of shots. Kind of hard to always have the right lens on hand. I have actually used my 300mm on some of my nicest macro shots.

when you get use to it, it will improve but you have to be so far back to get any width.I have a 300 but never use it.beautiful area and shot

Yes, I can see why you were able to find so much wildlife. The trees are so thick I'm sure it's full of all kinds of beasties. Lovely place, and wonderful shot.
