Description

Last one in a series of 3 shots. Really loved this angle. Remember this little dude is only about 5mm in body length. You really have to be in the right place right time to even see these.. lol. Thanks for all the comments on the other 2. Have a good weekend all. -Bruce Don't forget FULL SIZE!

WOW! This is gorgeous. Katydid Nymphs are always so...skinny! They're all legs, even their legs have legs! This is an amazing capture and I'm not too familiar with the species, but that's okay, there's a LOT I'm not familiar with. How you get such cooperative insect subjects is beyond me...I get them too, but more often than not, I capture insect-shaped blurs because they've decided that after hours of sitting still and sunning themselves, that its time to clean their legs or walk off, rather quickly in the other direction. Ah, but that's insects for you. All of that aside though, this is a fantastic shot. Another of my favorites!

I freaking love this shot!! I've been browsing thru your gallery for the last 20 min. and you just blow me away with your work. I have a Canon XTi also but the kit lens sucks. I think I'll invest in a 50mm lens,I already have the extension tubes and I recently purchased a Canon 50D, Which I just love. Anyway really love your work Bruce. :)
