Description

With the end of "Humanity's First Interstellar War" there was a surge of new ships and stations introduced as the nations of Earth all rushed to take advantage of the treaty's opening of space to a wider range of participants. Recognizing that there would be transitional stations that would be for early exploration or preparations for colonization, there were a large number of new station designs that came into use. This serves as an excellent example of the idea of modular stations that could be easily transported, and assembled as needed. Hyde-Dynamics used this as an early promotional piece to sell their latest design. ------------ The station was modeled and rendered in Bryce, hull textures are mostly my own, with some presets or modified presets as well. The planet started out in Photoshop with the plugin "Lunarcell" but I altered it in Photoshop afterwards. The starscape is a heavily altered scatter from the "Glitterato" plugin, and the nebula is a collection of 4 cloud-photos. Compositing and other post working also done in Photoshop.
