Description
This one was a hard shot and didnt really come out as I hoped, but after a little sharpening it may not be to bad. I dont remember ever seeing deer in the wild like this, it was awesome :)

excellent capture..The foliage is a nice touch, it gives that sense of you (or the deer) trying to stay hidden

Awww so pretty, it looks like you had a busy and fun weekend. :)

It is a very lovely shot and I like it that way, for the same reason as the heron shot the other day. That it is taken on the deers own conditions. I like that. I know I am silly, but that is how I think about it.

Great shot Hubba! :) See that look on it's face. The look of... "Why's this human following me?"

She is peeping at you. Must be great to be close to her.

It is a purely natural shot and that's where the charm lies. That's what gives it that heightened sense of interest. Stellar shot and I agree that this is a thrilling experience. But let me tell you, I've run up on many and, in fact, lived on acreage that was in the middle of a deer trail so they walked past my front door at least 4 times each day, and the excitement of being so close and seeing such a lovely creature in the wild never lessens.

Like the fact the deer is sharp and the foliage this time is a bit blurred...in other words like you DOF. Nicely done.

How lovely to have found this lovely deer and this is how you should see them running wild. We farm them here and they never look this happy.
