This, I think, was developed from the Hart and was widely used by the Royal Navy prior to WWII. I imagine flying the things was no fun when they were often catapulted from warships and later had to land in a sometimes tumultuous ocean. Nowadays helicoptors have presumable taken over their role and the outlook for the crews accordingly better. Nice work, as always (sadly, being good seemingly becomes boring but skill is hard-earned and makes for subsequent ease. The deception lies in making the difficult seem easy.)
