Description
For a very busy, caring woman, and her family, and for all those with 'challenges' in their lives..
As a retiree, I know that, despite expectations, my time is not my own. I know full well that a mother's is definitely never her own.
After a very busy period, I at last had a minute or two to myself. My newly installed VUE 8 Complete was used for this render. It was inspired by one of our mature, local, maple trees which is still going strong, hanging onto its leaves, despite an overnight frost, and some horrendous wind and heavy rain, recently.
We are often, I sometimes think, just like that maple tree. We kid ourselves on that we are OK, whether in mind, body or spirit, when in fact we are really only surviving, not living life to the full, even if we think we are... ;o)
A recent medical assessment opened my eye to my real physical and mental disabilities, which I have coped with for over twenty years, without really thinking of them.
While the medical professional did commend my positive attitude, he had me truthfully face my physical reality. I must admit that I am more used to facing up to spiritual realities and helping others who need counselling. So much so that I have made a habit perhaps, of being reckless with my own health.
As a result of this encounter, I am even more aware of my blessings, and perhaps more ready to live more, both in a physical and a spiritual sense.
I therefore pray tonight for all those just 'hanging on', those 'surviving', those 'making do', that they might be given the strength to cope, the peace of mind to decide what they must do, the courage to make those decisions, and the trust in God's almighty love for His children.
Goodnight and God Bless you all, John.

Gorgeous render, almost photo-realistic! I don't know your exact situation, but the general tenor of it resonates with my own situation. Hang in there and keep doing beautiful work such as this.
