Description

This was one of those shots where I got more than I knew when I took it. It's not so much the surfers, but how you can see the line of the wave. I'm home, and the quiet is wonderful. That's what I missed the most. Not so much that southern California is noisy--it surely is--it's that each place I stayed had its own sounds--people, dogs, tv's, sometimes just the constant conversation was too much. So, tonight, it's just me, the noisiest thing is the popping of the wood on the fire. Home sweet home.

Just wait until the crackling of those burning logs starts to drive you crazy! Sorry but I just had to implant that seed in your brain matey!!!!!!!! Great shot BTW. Yes I agree the swell line really leads the eye in.
