Description
Agave ferox (Green Goblet) is a succulent plant of a large botanical genus, belonging to the family Agavaceae. The latin genus name is derived from the Greek name Agave.
In Greek mythology, Agave was the daughter of Cadmus, the king and founder of the city of Thebes, Greece, and of the goddess Harmonia. She married Echion, one of the five Spartoi (Ares' children), and was the mother of Pentheus and Epirus. She was a Maenad, a follower of Dionysus (Bacchus).

I figured with this coloring it had to be agave. The break in the leaf is wonderful and adds texture and depth.
