Description

October the 30th, I went to collect the very last tomatos from the green house. There were only a very few edible left, the rest I had to drop. But I found them still very beautiful in colors, so I took a shot. Yes I am wierd. :) Thank you for your kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks to those who added it to favs. :-) Have a beautiful day. We have sunny weather today and there was a special light over the Blackcurrant field, so I just had to have a shot from there. But they promis RAIN for days after this. :(

You are not weird at all, Helle! I am eating the last tray of tomatoes at present, but I cut theplants down to make room for the cannas to go inside soon.

I don't think you're weird at all, but you can't go by me ... I may be a little odd myself! LOL! Those are gorgeous! I'm glad you shared them.

Seems to me, a little weirdness is a necessity of sanity. Wonderful shot! Lovely colors and textures. My mom has a hanging tomato plant on her front porch with some tomatoes, but it doesn't look like they are going to ripen, and they're too small for fried green tomatoes.

They have such a vivid colour and you have caught that well.

Oh these are quite delicious to behold. I can see myself salvaging as many of them as possible, and maybe a couple that are a little bit past their prime. Wonderful, colorful work. It's so alive. I am glad that you caught these; there's nothing weird at all about photographing tomatoes that can't be eaten any more...and looking at these makes me want to enjoy fresh, sliced tomatoes with slices of mozzarella cheese with just a little bit of vinegar and oil. Fantastic work!
