Description

They are so beautiful right now in this area. They lighten up between other bushes. They dont grow wild here, so you must buy the bushes. As a child I kept away from the bushes while they were in bloom, because it is one of the bee´s favorites :-) Full screen it better. Thank you for your kind comments to yesterdays upload and special warm thanks to those, who added it to favs. It is highly apreciated. :-) Have a great day. Here the weather is grey, windy and the sky is one color...grey. But it isnt very cold.

A fine shot, Helle, reminds me of my childhood. We used to have them all around our home and as kids we loved the fruit, as we could use them as toy torpedos throwing them on the ground and listening to the sound... must have been a tradition even before my younger years as in german they are called toy torpedos as a plant too...

I have seen these only on a few occassions and always thought them to be very lovely. This is a fabulous capture.

Ah, so that is what these are called! I saw them in Prague, growing EVERYWHERE, but of course they were intentionally planted since "everywhere" means that they were growing in parks. Gorgeous berries, and I'd steer clear of them in summer too, especially since I wouldn't want to disturb bees. I love the clarity and the DOF is perfect.
