Description

A study in light, lens effect, and terrain. Thanks to EvilProducer, JonnyBravo2010, HumanTex for helping figure out a better way to do the landscape. Pure render, no postwork save for signature. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, the light and lens flare looks terrific.. The pose, "To Be or Not' etc. seems to be a little static considering the environment. Something a bit more "Where the H*** am I" would look good. The straight line horizon is a bit iffy for Me.. Take care and be good, and if You can't be good, be good at it...!!

Thanks guys! Your right Noel, the pose & character is simply the saved character from the other render, just drag & dropped into this scene to create some shadow and have something to interect with the lens flare. I'll probably re-visit this scene when I have more of an idea what I want to do with it, or if/when theres another effect I need to get a better grip on. Biggest issue was with the terrain. Same texture I used in Approaching Storm, but its the method / technique I wanted to refine, make more efficient and less resource wasteful. The end result ironed out the the 3 guys at the daz3d forum Carrara discussion thread allows for easy use of any size of ground texture. Thanks for the feedback :)

I can't find anything to ding you on, in the render! so, I'll say: great image. And I have walked on hard-packed, parched earth like that.
