They look like toasted dumplings. I like these very much. The colors are very warm. It's not summer any more in Chicago, and this is a very warm picture. I like it a lot.

Might be (Tawny Almond Waxy Caps) not sure, your's are a little lighter in color. Reminds me more of the tops of unfrosted cup cakes fresh out of the oven. :) Great find and capture!

They really do look like buns, so soft and puffy looking! We only have a few shrooms in this area so I find these very interesting! Wonderful capture with awesome details Helle!
