Description

Took a picture of a Model-T Ford truck on Friday, removed the body and used a recognizable stylized filter. Hope you like the result. By the time Henry Ford ceased production of the Model-T in 1927, more than 15 million were built. 1908-1913 (pre-production line) it took an average of 725 minutes to build a Model-T. 1913 (new plant and production line) time required dropped to 93 minutes per Model-T. By 1927 (last Model-T year) a new Model-T was rolling out the door every 24 seconds. Bill:) Note: The little sign you can't read behind the headlight says, "Please Do Not Touch".

Fabulous photo and postwork on this motoring icon, good job. Whenever I see a model 'T' I always think of 'Stanley and Lizzy' from the Disney Pixar 'Cars' Movie! I've been a process engineer in my time and fully understand the importance of the production Takt times quoted. Old 'Henry Ford' certainly set new standards in mass production. P

Fine rendition of the first production line auto, Bill. Glowing edges filter? I still see these oldies but goodies at various auto shows, with many having been customized.

Excellent. I like the filter results. As a small child I remember that we had a Ford Model T. I can also remember a few not too nice words when Dad cranked it and the engine didn't turn over.
