Description

When Kayla and I were in the pool yesterday afternoon, I noticed this butterfly on the leaf right at the bottom of my pool's retaining wall. After we finished our swim it was still there, so of course I had to go get the camera, lay down on my tummy and snap off a few shots. Hope you all had a great weekend! Stay well. Hugs, Carin xx

What a wonderful shot with the 3 elements. The animal kingdom, the vegetable kingdom and the mineral kingdom, if it isnt wood, I see to the right. It is a wonderful composition and a lovely butterfly. :-)

How thoughtful of the butterfly to wait for you. Excellent shot especially of the face.

I'm with Tara...we need to come to Africa...I've always liked that continent anyway, it looks a bit like a dog sniffing Antarctica, and South Africa is the nose. Hmmm...I wonder what Antarctica smells like? And yeah...the butterflies seem to hold still! They certainly don't in Chicago! This is excellent photographic work, and yeah...I can imagine you flat on your stomach getting this shot! It's gorgeous and it paid off. I love the pattern on the butterfly's wings. And I'm curious about the plant too.
