Description
Our outside furniture on the porches have been being ripped to shreds. All the stuffing is being taken out and stole. While waiting for Dave's mom to go shopping Saturday morning, I caught the thief in action.
Meet Nuts, our squirrel that resides here in our yard. As soon as he seen me he knew he was in trouble. He normally doesn't run from me. He knew what he was doing was wrong and he was making off with the goods in his mouth. Up the tree he went with the stuffing.

Squirrels are amazing creatures...smarter than people think. They have a sense of what's right, what's wrong, and what serves them so right and wrong become irrelevant, and yeah, they love comfy insulation in their nests...now if only they built neat nests! But ah, they're not too different from rats in that they are incredibly cute and will de-stuff your entire house if you let them. Squirrels are such funny and cute creatures, though they make dubious pets. The ones I know are insatiable bandits, they're ghetto squirrels and they probably carry switchblades. Looks like your friend Nuts is also such a bandit. I love this "getaway shot." It's so squirrely. Oooh, that was a bad pun!

must be cold out there and he needs something cozy and warm for his nest, still a silly boy for stealing from the hand that feeds.....great action shot though!

Wonderful shot! There was a show on the Discovery Channelthat showed one going into a candy machine and coming out with a cndy bar. They are pretty smart ittle critters.

Geeez, I hope our Squirrel doesn't see this and start looking to tear into the cushions stored in the garden shed to feather his nest with, LOL! What a cool picture, sure has me laughing!
