Description

Bryce6.1/Photoshop/Photoscape3.3 A new ship design inspired by nature, with a steampunk twist to it.This time inspired by the insect that gives it it's name. All items created in Bryce6.1...ship from positive and negative shapes, terrains in the terrain editor,The ship textures are customized photos from cgtextures.com and presets, terrain texture is another from the Seriously Real Materials 5-6 from Daz.Sky,light and atmo are all customs. The water plants are my first attempt at creating an ecosystem similar to Vue's...I combined a foliage photo with my own custom transmap created in Photoshop, and applied to two duplicated, clipped and flattened terrains. It didn't work out too badly!A levels adjustment, minor touch-ups and sig in Photoshop, and frame and bloom effect in Photoscape completed the image. Thanks for viewing and any comments you wish to leave!

Great model- seems you are integrating natural and technical lines nicely in your recent work. The surface mats work great.

Awesome model!!! I also like the addition of the water plants (a great technique, by the way, that I must try in the near future--very creative). Definitely a favorite for me!!!

Where did you get your virtual engineering degree...? :o) Excellent work on the models and plants. Do you take passengers for joyrides?

Really like the texture you have given to your new model, Neil. Quite a creative twist to it, as well.
