My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Looks good to me. I better get reading up on portraiture. I realize I don't know enough about it to make a semi-intelligent comment:-) What lighting did you use? Flash, no-flash?

Fifty? Why he's just a kid! Wonderful portrait, really shows character. Excellent result for low light and crowded room.

Good job Tara. The best way to deal with WB is to have a great black and white. I like the gentle noise here.

Portraits are always so interesting. I like this one a lot as it seems to capture his personality, and it's so vibrant and alive. Wonderful work.

What a beautiful portrait and I like that smile. He looks so happy. I believe it is healthy to look at happy faces :-)

Excellent. He hasn't 'posed' which is great. I hate when you point a camera and they notice and do something other.
