Description

This is a shot of the drawbridge on Main St. This was taken the other night. I just love the reflections in the water on this one and thought I would share. Peace and love to you all, Cheri

Andrea (durleybeachbum) did an image recently with a similar shade of blue. It's my favorite kind of blue because it makes the night look so moody. The light here is a perfect example of that. It looks vaguely otherworldly or like some really high-tech drawbridge powered by zero-point energy emission monitored and modulated by a crumudgeonly old man who really hates "all this newfangled suff." Hmmm...where did that come from? Anyway, I really like this shot...that blue is what makes it and those reflections on the water are nicely complex and of wonderful shades that are intense and anti-blue. I love that balance. Great work.

Fantastic image! I also love the blue and the red and the aquamarine. Has a feeling of a movie scene where a meeting is about to take place and something's going to happen.

The Fox? Well, considering it's a drawbridge, I must assume it's a river up your way. Terrific light and night effects on tap here. And, perfect for ninja type activities.

It didn't dawn on me until reading through all of the other comments, that what we commonly refer to the Fox River around here wouldn't be understood by everyone else. I would've made the same assumption, and just called it the fox too!. This turned out really neat, I think you had the better angle for shots of the bridge. Do I dare post one of mine now? Love the blue sweetie, and the reflection on the southeast side rocks in this!!
