Description

Egretta tricolor: the Tricolored Heron is 26 inches (66cm) long, with a 36 inches (91cm) wingspan. S/he is found in salt marshes and swamos. This bird was once called the Louisiana Heron. Taken October 26th, at Green Cay Wetlands, west of Delray Beach, Florida. Thanks for stopping by, taking a peak and for all your previous comments. Dana

I really like herons. They always look so professorial as if they are wearing a long coat and standing with their hands clasped behind them. This is an outstanding image.
