Welcome, and thanks for stopping in.
These photos are all from an old Nikon N2020 35 mm camera. The 12:24 wide angle lens is one I've used, some may say abused, frequently in this landscape, and this image is no exception. Here we stand in the mouth of the amphitheater. Even with the wide angle lens only a portion can be captured.
To the left of the notch high up the sandstone wall would be the POV from the last image. Hard to think of it being so thin at that notch looking at this vast mass of sandstone. Revealed here in the large dune there lies a bit of polished sandstone.
