Description

I thought of you today All day You have been on my mind A lot lately We had so much fun Growing up I think we were the true Dumb and dumber We were both severe under achievers Who thought we owned the world Our whole life revolved around Dragging the Ave. On Friday and Saturday nights Both of us uglier than a mud fence But neither one of us knew it Well we knew it about the other We were the kings of Tieton It was a odd mix Both of us cowards But neither one of us was afraid Because we always had each others back We were both kings of nothing But the good thing is We were both either too dumb to know it Or to smart to care about it I am not sure which And although you have been gone to the great beyond For about 10 years I still feel like you have my back

Randy, this is such a beautiful tribute to your friend. Full of love, humor, sadness and memories. He still lives on in your heart. Moving words, my friend.

Old Friends, old friends...sat on their park bench like bookends. That's how I used to imagine my friend and I would be at 70. He's gone 16 years this February. A very beautiful and sad tribute to your friend. I hope he's somewhere where he can see this. Funny how this time of year brings out these memories.

Nowhere in the poem does it say he or she....I would change the last line to say....I still would like having you back...Doesn't take much to be the King of Tieton...lol...very good poem...it got to my heart
