I wrote you a letter today
Put it in a bottle
And threw it out to sea
I don’t know if you will ever find it
If it will ever find you
But I have hope
Hope that it will
Hope that it will touch your heart
They way you touched mine
Hope that you will sit on the beach
Let the sun warm your body
The wind touch your face
And think fondly of me
I have hope
Hope when I walk to the beach
There will be a letter
A letter for me
