Description

Last week I put up my tree, and between that and working on the wrapping paper, I'm finding myself slowly shifting into the Christmas Mood, if you will. Remember what this day should be: kindness and good will towards everyone, regardless of where they're from, what they believe, and where how they live. This day all of Earth's children can be at peace. If only for a day.

I'd say "Merry Christmas" to you in Czech or Russian...but unfortunately that would be far beyond my typing abilities right now, as I'm too lazy to switch keyboard functions and remember the overcomplicated rules of Slavic grammar. I'll just comment on this picture instead. I love it. Something about the colors and the off-kilter focus really heightens the emotional qualities of this image...more like you're looking at a memory or a dream or an idea, rather than an "object." I love that shift and it's incredibly fitting. Great work.
