I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

This is a telling shot..my self a few years ago is described to some extent, just take out the drums and put in something else. I found I was not completing some things properly and cut back, giving more time to finish what was more valuable and also more family time. That was not easy. Driven is driven. Best wishes on the move and blessings to all.

Better too many hobbies than too few. Nice set of drums.

You can never have too many hobbies - just too little time! Great photo of an impressive set of drums.

Personally, I think this is not the number of activities in which they took refuge, which is important. Rather, the pleasure we take in what we do. Whether you're a musician and you can express your personality through them, not a problem, if for every instrument you have affection, you have the pleasure o express yourself! The life of man is far too short. For years, I obeyed the laws binding life, while keeping my own identity. This earned me a lot of trouble in 42 years of work. Today, the company did not need me, indifference to me, since I live with my digital creations, literary and musical. A small number of sincere friends and free expression in leisure activities are more important for my soul that many "friends" and few personal expression! Very beautiful photo, a neighborhood of miraculous things, provoking, laughter, dance, expressions and suffering! MAESTRO thank you! Merci MAESTRO !!!

I think many of us--and I include myself--see ourselves in your photo and comments. I quite agree with most of the above comments, too. Even at my somewhat advanced age, I am still learning to cut back and develop priorities and to stick with them and to try and give my loved ones more of my time. I still have a long way to go on both--especially that important time with my family and friends.

Too many drums? No way! Too many hobbies? No way! I just had a funny thought when I looked at these. I have a friend in Prague, named Tomas (he's in my gallery, playing a similar drum, a djembe I think. Anyway I just had this image of you in the tea house Shiva in Prague, with your drums, while he had his and the two of you were improvising something...which would be interesting since he's a friend, but he and I don't really share a common language. His English is limited to only a few words, usually tea related. Anyway, this is a great image and a wonderful peek into your life...or at least your living room. This is fun.

too many hobbies--tell me about it? Ever read the Artist's Way? I haven't either but I am told it helps the chaotic artistic mind focus--lol
