Description

11:00 pm, Temperature: 15F (-9C), wind chill factor 9F (-13C). On our way home from visiting our daughter and her family, we passed a fast food restaurant and noted somebody didn't turn the fountain off! This fantastic ice sculpture resulted. Having a camera with us, I couldn't pass this chance up. Bundled up as I was, I had to remove my gloves for several shots at different angles. As I snapped away, the feeling left my fingers. That's when I knew I had to quit. Thank you for the visit, and for any comments you should make. I appreciate them. Take care and stay warm and toasty! You know it is strange. I look at this and there is such beauty in this. As artists, we try so hard to create beauty, and we do. However nothing can compare to the beauty in nature, even at her harshest times. It had to have been really cold for a while to freeze this. Thanks for sharing it with us. It is really cool, (pun intended) ;)
