Description

The day I visited the San Diego Wild Animal Park was nice and cool, which meant the animals were active. As I was passing the Giant Eland enclosure a mother Eland decided it was time for a drink and led her babies to the water trough just to the right of this picture. Then mother and first offspring couldn't have cared less about the knot of people watching them, but this little guy, stopped and looked at us for a couple of minutes. He almost looks like he's posing. Enjoy

Maybe he is posing. This is impressive and he does look inquisitive. The light is really nice as is the composition; I rather like the snips and snatches of his environment surrounding him, including the hind-quarters of his mother and sibling.
