My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

If properly kept, gourds can last til, say Christmas.... lol great photo and postwork

Love whatever you did to this---hope you're feelin better!!

Oh, this is wonderful and I love those colors. Just one warning about gourds...don't put them too close to apples that are covered in mold and schmutz. I learned that the hard way with those King's Apples I played around with. There were gourds in the kitchen and within a day they were soft and mushy because of apple rot! Who knew that apple fungus could be so aggressive!? Anyway, these are lovely and the light is just superb. I really like the fact that you get gourd bits but not an entire specimen. That just makes the composition pop for me. I really like the postwork too! This is such a relaxing photo.

Wonderful.. but it's never too late :)

Ah, a very colorful array of five very different gourds... Subtle postwork looks great...just right for the background. As kids, we were always talking about being out of our gourds:-))) So, what's the first thing I think about even today? Yup...

Wonderful color. I love the impressionist effect of the post work.

I don't know anything about gourds except if you put the dried seeds in an empty one it makes an excellent maraca. This is very colorful. Nice lighting and post work.

I'm laughing big time. I kept a big basket of dried gourds that looked just like this in my living room for 8 years and just tossed it all out to make room for the Christmas tree. I feel like they never left because here they are in all their glory. Wonderful capture.
