Description

A number of the plesiosaur Kaiwhekea are attracted to a school of their favourite prey Belemnites (a prehistoric squid), off the coast of Zealandia (the continent that would sink and leave only New Zealand and a few other scattered Pacific Islands). Yet there is no such thing as a free lunch, with several mega predators attracted themselves by the excitment... Everything in this piece (apart from the texture maps, which were made in Paintshop Pro) were built, composed, and rendered by myself in Carrara. For the upcoming Palaeo-environment show at ART Evolved, www.blogevolved.blogspot.com, on Jan. 7th. Be sure to enter a piece of your own!
