Description

While revamping the Winter Collection, this is a test render of the new falling snow mat for alpha planes (there's about 6 alphaplanes at varying distance in this). I think this is so much better than the original. Isuppose that's why I'm doing the update hahaaaa! Actually, this could be anywhere along the east of England tonight except for the hills - it's very flat out East ! Thanx 4 peekin'

A nice render, Gill. The snow planes will make a difference to the depth, without too much processor power, and whining case fans. The composition is good, and I'm almost ( I said almost ) tempted to root out my old wellies, and crunch off into the distance. After spreading road salt twice today, on paths and car parks, for separate church services, my back is giving me gyp, and after a bad fall last month, I am not looking forward to more ice. I hope that the snow, which is lying quite thinly up here at the moment, either gives us a proper 'plummet' i.e. 6-8" / 15-20cm, or goes away overnight. What will happen is enough snow over black ice to lower a few folk's dignity tomorrow morning before the sun is kicked out of bed... ;o) I can't wait till you update the winter set. I hope that you and your loved ones have a wonderful, joyful Christmas, and that 2010 delivers some really good surprises. Warm regards, well I'm almost warm now..., John.

Very realistic looking and a lovely winter scene. I love snow scenes like this, just as long as I don't have move about in it. :) Great job.

After the forest fire scenes I've been rendering lately, it's nice to cool down with a nice forest snow scene. This one reminds me of the property of an old friend, who was gracious enough to allow me to wander through his private woods. Some of my favorite memories were snowy days like this that you have portrayed.

This is excellent snowfall looking very realistic indeed Gill, well done!!! It does look very much like this but with more snow on the ground, I am in Lincolnshire UK, my car is snowed in just now and it really is cold. Merry Christmas hugs Jane xx
